At the beginning of this year, NSMHA earmarked funds to be awarded for consumer-oriented projects. Accordingly, a Request for Proposals (RFP) was published and advertised. A Consumer RFP Committee was appointed to guide the selection process, chaired by Joe Valentine, NSMHA Board of Directors. Participants included representatives of every group involved, including consumers, advocates, family members, a county coordinator, the RSN Advisory Board, the RSN Board of Directors, and RSN staff.
